Tarangaa to hold annual concerts on July 7 and 8

Mysuru: Tarangaa, founded in 2015 by Smitha Srikiran, a noted flautist from Mysuru, will be holding its 4th year annual concerts on July 7 and 8 at Mysuru Vasudevacharya Bhavana, JLB Road, at 6 pm on both days.

The event will be inagurated by  H. Chennappa, Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture, tomorrow.  K.V. Murthy, Art Patron, will preside. On the occasion, Smitha Srikiran’s  Vijaya Tarangini, a flute CD on Devi Kritis will be released by noted Senior Vocalist Vidushi G.S. Rajalakshmi. This will be followed by a flute and vocal concerts by Tarangaa’s budding artistes.

The evening on July 8 will be enthralled by a grand Flute Recital by Vid. T. R. Srinath. He will be accompanied by Vid. K. T. Udaykiran on Violin, Vid. G. S. Ramanujam on Mridanga and Vid.V. S. Ramesh on Ghata.
