Tatkal special train between Yesvantpur and Dharwad

 South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run Tatkal special between Yesvantpur and Dharwad to clear the extra rush of passengers during Shivaratri festival.

Train No. 06538 Yesvantpur-Dharwad Tatkal special departs from Yesvantpur at 20.30 hrs on 23rd February (Thursday)  and arrives at Dharwad at 05.35 hrs on 24th February (Friday).  The train arrives/departs at Tumakuru (21.30/21.32), Arsikere (23.10/23.15), Birur (23.57/23.59), Davanagere (02.20/02.22), Harihar (02.43/02.45), Haveri (03.50/03.52) and Hubballi (05.00/05.10).

Train No. 06537 Dharwad-Yesvantpur Tatkal special departs from Dharwad at 19.40 hrs on 26th February (Sunday) and arrives at Yesvantpur at 05.00 hrs on 27th February (Monday). The train arrives/departs at Hubballi (20.10/20.25), Haveri (21.33/21.35), Harihar (22.33/22.35), Davanagere (22.51/22.53), Birur (00.50/00.52), Arsikere (01.30/01.35) and Tumakuru (03.23/03.25).

Train No. 06538/06537 Yesvantpur- Dharwad – Yesvantpur Tatkal special will have 16 coaches comprising one AC 2-tier coach, four AC 3-tier coaches, nine second class sleeper coaches and two second class-cum-luggage and break-van with disabled friendly compartment. Advance booking is open.

Shifted Terminal to Danapur

Railways have decided to shift the terminal station of Train No. 12295/12296 Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru) – Patliputra- Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru) Sanghamitra Daily Express from Patliputra to Danapur. Train No. 12295 Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru) – Patliputra Sanghamitra Daily Express leaving Bengaluru on 27th February onwards will run only upto Danapur.  

Train No. 12296 Patliputra- Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru) Sanghamitra Daily Express originates from Danapur instead of Patliputra with effect from 1st March, 2017, according to a press release from  Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway, Hubballi.
