District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and Department of Public Instruction, Mysuru, have jointly organised the District-level Teachers Day celebration as part of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary at Kalamandira tomorrow at 10 am. Minister V. Somanna will inaugurate. MLA L. Nagendra will preside. Retd. Joint Director of Education Department Prof. Morabada Mallikarjuna will be the main speaker. District-level ‘Best Teacher’ awards will be presented and retired teachers will be felicitated on the occasion.   Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has also organised a programme at Kaveri auditorium in its premises tomorrow at 2.30 pm to mark Teachers Day celebrations. Karnataka State Industrial Area Development Board Executive Engineer will be the chief guest. KSOU VC Prof. S. Vidyashankar will preside.
