Mysuru: Bengaluru-based teacher Maletira Shoba Kiran, who served at Cauvery School, has given a new lease of life to seven people through organ donation following her death.

Shoba, daughter of late Palekanda Dicka and Kamala, and wife of Maletira Kiran, was known for her dedication to teaching.

Following her death, her family decided to donate her organs, helping seven recipients in need of transplants. Her heart, lungs and eyes, among other organs, were donated, giving recipients a chance to resume their lives.
