‘Teachers urged to improve quality of Teaching’

Mysuru:  “Teaching is a social act whereas learning is an individual act,” said Dr. N.N. Prahallada, former faculty, Regional Institute of Education (RIE), NCERT, Mysuru, while orienting teachers of Rainbow Public School, Bogadi-Gaddige Road, here recently.

“Teaching profession is not every one’s cup of tea, anybody and everybody cannot teach. Teachers must prepare well in advance and then alone step into classroom for successful transaction of the given curriculum,” he advised.

“The quality of teaching matters a much and therefore teachers should use Information, Communication Technology (ICT) approach to help students learn better in this technologically advanced society,” he said.

H. Geetha, Principal,  Rainbow Public School, welcomed. C.A. Cariappa,  Chairman and Sujani Cariappa, CEO, Rainbow Public School, were present along with School Teachers on the occasion.
