Mysuru:  MLC Marithibbegowda has said that the wages of teachers, whose salaries have been withheld for poor results in SSLC, will be released shortly.

In a press release, Marithibbegowda said that the May 24 order issued by the Primary and Secondary Education Department Principal Secretary withholding salaries of teachers for poor results was discussed with the Department Minister in the presence of MLCs who got elected from Teacher and Graduate Constituencies. The Minister, after giving a patient hearing to the pleas of MLCs, has directed the authorities to release the withheld salaries of teachers, he said.
