Teaching profession is a novel one:  KSOU VC

Mysuru: Maintaining that teaching profession is one among the noblest profession, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. D. Shivalingaiah said that teaching also brings satisfaction to the soul.

He was speaking after inaugurating a 30-day K-SET and UGC-NET Coaching Camp organised by KSOU at the Competitive Exams Coaching Centre in Manasagangothri in city recently.

Pointing out that studies should not only be aimed at exams but also become a tool for transformation for the better, he said that learning cannot be more significant than when we use it for the betterment of the society.

KSOU Registrar Prof. B. Ramesh,  Dean (Academic) Dr. Jagadish, Finance Officer Dr. A. Khader Pasha, Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. M.S. Ramanand, Coordinator Dr. R.H. Pavithra and others were present.
