Team formed to crack headmaster’s murder

April 1, 2017

The Maddur Police have formed special team to crack the murder case of a Government School Head Master who was killed yesterday.

The 47-year-old Shashibhushan, who was the Head Master of Bidirahosahalli Government Primary School, was murdered by a gang yesterday morning near a deserted place at Arechakanahalli when he was on his way to his School on his bike.

The gang members, who came in a car, slit the victim’s throat and left the body by the side of the road and fled. Shashibhushan was a resident of Guthalu Layout in Mandya.

Police sources have suspected the role of his family members in the murder.

Sources said that the Head Master’s daughter had married out of caste and this had not gone down well with      Shashibhushan who had asked his daughter not to come  to his house.

The Police are also probing a finance angle and have suspected the involvement of some money lenders.
