Mysuru: Technical talks were organised by Civil Engineering Association (CEA) at the Department of Civil Engineering, the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, on Nov.3.

Nikhil Jagadish, Director, Sankalp Group, presented a session on ‘Facing the realities of construction world’ and shared his experience on facing the construction industry in India and Abroad. He advised the students to keep updating their knowledge and skills continuously, and learn modern tools and technologies. He dealt on future possibilities in use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Reality (VR) in the construction industry.

M.T. Arasu, Managing Director, Career Prime Campus Recruitment Solution, presented a talk on ‘Career opportunities in Civil Engineering’ and discussed about the variety of opportunities available for Civil Engineers.
