Teen succumbs to burns

Mysuru: A 17-year-old girl who was being treated in K.R. Hospital for serious burn injuries sustained on Sept.5, breathed her last in the hospital last night.

The deceased has been identified as Rakshitha (18), a BBM student at Teresian college. Rakshitha was preparing tea at her home at Krishnanagar, Yaraganahalli on the morning of Sept.5, when she accidentally suffered burn injuries. She was immediately rushed to K.R. Hospital where she succumbed last night, it is learnt.

Alanahalli Police have registered a case in this regard.
