The House of Krishnamani & Vaishnavi Silks present Festive Fashion in Mysuru

October 3, 2025

Mysuru: With the festive season round the corner, Mysuru’s fashion enthusiasts have much to look forward to. Two celebrated labels — The House of Krishnamani and Vaishnavi Silks — are set to showcase their latest collections at a special two-day exhibition on Oct. 4 and 5 at B.M. Habitat Mall, Ground Floor.

Founded in 2000, The House of Krishnamani has become known for its ability to blend western sensibilities with traditional roots. Their newest collection, The Festive Edit, carries forward this philosophy with designs that are both glamorous and wearable. Using pure silks, organzas, satins and Banarasi brocades, the label presents a variety of silhouettes including free-flowing organza capes, crepe jumpsuits, structured brocade jackets, drape skirts and statement drape dresses.

Despite their luxurious appearance, the pieces are lightweight, comfortable and affordable, making them suitable for everything from cocktail evenings to wedding festivities. Rich jewel tones — reds, greens, blues, purples and hot pinks — highlight the festive spirit while staying true to  Indian aesthetics.

Balancing this contemporary flair is the timeless elegance of Vaishnavi Silks, a label that has long been a favourite in Mysuru for its hand-woven sarees. This season, Vaishnavi brings a diverse collection that includes Banarasi sarees in both grand bridal weaves and lighter zari versions, Kalamkari silks known for their artistic appeal and organza sarees for a modern twist on traditional wear. Their silks and tussars continue to reflect the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and authenticity.

What makes this exhibition unique is the dialogue between heritage and modernity. On one side, Vaishnavi Silks celebrates India’s weaving traditions with timeless drapes. On the other, The House of Krishnamani reimagines festive dressing with Indo-western ensembles that appeal to today’s woman. Together, they offer Mysuru’s fashion lovers a complete wardrobe — from classic sarees to contemporary statement wear.

This two-day event is more than a shopping opportunity; it is an invitation to experience the art of design, the beauty of fabric and the joy of dressing up for the festive season.
