Thieves decamp with Rs. 1.3 lakh cash from an electronic showroom

Mysuru: Burglars, who targeted a showroom selling electronic gadgets have managed to decamp with Rs. 1.3 lakh cash from the showroom on Wednesday night in city.

The electronic showroom that was burgled is Srikanteshwara TV showroom on Dr. Rajkumar Road.

The burglars gained entry into the showroom by forcibly opening the shutters and decamped with cash and a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), it is learnt.

Attempt to burgle JIO showroom

After burgling the TV showroom, the burglars targeted the JIO showroom on the same road.

But when the burglars tried to forcibly open the shutters of the showroom, the alarm went off, forcing the burglars to abandon their plan to loot the showroom and fled from the spot.

Alanahalli Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and have registered cases.
