Third edition of KMPL Cricket Tournament launched

City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta inaugurated the third edition of KMPL(Karnataka Medical Premier League) Cricket Tournament at SJCE Grounds in Manasagangothri here yesterday.

Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, Raghulal and Co. Proprietor Pharmacist N. Raghavan said that taking part in sports is necessary for maintaining physical and mental health.

It is happy to note that this Cricket Tournament has been organised for Pharmacists, who most of the times are under work-related pressure, he said and added that the Tournament will help them in relieving their stress.

A total of 12 teams are taking part in this three-day Cricket tournament, which concludes on Mar. 7.

Superintendent of Police (SP) C.B. Ryshyanth, Lakshmeesh of Lakshmi Pharma and others were present.
