The long-pending widening and re-metalling work from Vijayanagar Water Tank till Trinethra Circle has been completed and along with this, the road is now thrown open for traffic as Double Road. 

The authorities have also installed concrete medians a few months ago and till now, this median is not painted.

 Due to this, after  sunset, the median is not visible for motorists as the colour of the median looks black. Added to it, the street lights are on one side of the road and does not project light to the other side. 

I request the authorities concerned to urgently undertake the painting of this median as also installing electric poles at the centre of the road (as is done on Dhanvantri road) and to erect radium reflectors at the end points of the median all through to avoid any mishaps.
