This Road near Yelwal needs immediate repairs

May 18, 2022

Sir,

The 1.5 kms stretch that connects to NJ Hospital in Yelwal (State Highway 88 that connects Bantwal from Mysuru) is in a very bad shape (filled with potholes). Since 2020, none of the authorities concerned have inspected the same and provided any assurance to make the road fit to travel.

As many people from near-by villages such as Nagawala, Bommenahalli etc., make frequent visits to the NJ Hospital, it becomes absolutely necessary to repair the road urgently to save patients and general public to travel smoothly on this stretch. Furthermore, this road also connects Acharya Vidya Kula (AVK) school wherein many students and their parents travel frequently as well. Before the rainy season intensifies, I request the authorities to repair this road and make it motorable.
