Three arrested for burgling Judge’s house

Mysuru: In a major breakthrough, the Hunsur Police have arrested three burglars who had allegedly burgled the house of a Judge in the town a few days ago.

The arrested have been identified as Kiran alias Sudhi, Vinod Kumar alias Soori and Sandeep, all residents of Hunsur town.

The three were speeding on a Honda Activa Scooter on Post Office Road in Hunsur town on June 2, when they were intercepted by a Hunsur Police team on suspicion.

During interrogation, the trio confessed to have burgled the house of Judge Girish in the town on May 21, following which the Police recovered 38 grams gold jewellery, 200grams silver jewellery, Rs. 4,860 cash, a laptop and three scooters stolen by them.

The trio are also said to have been involved in nine other house burglary cases registered in different Police Stations and also involved in a murder case.

Hunsur Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
