As part of the upcoming Dasara, Mysuru Dasara Sub-Committee for Film Festival has organised Three-Day Workshop on screenplay and story writing for movies from Sept. 20 to 22 at Vignana Bhavan, University of Mysore.  Well-known film makers and directors including P. Sheshadri, Lingadevaru, Jogi, B. Suresh, in collaboration with resource persons from various film institutes, will educate participants about various aspects and nuances of screenplay and story writing in filmmaking. The workshop will also showcase a few well-known movies for the benefit of participants who will receive certificate of participation from Mysuru Dasara Sub-Committee. Maximum 120 early birds will be selected for the workshop. Registration for general public is Rs. 400, for students Rs. 300 and for Mass Communication students Rs. 100. Registration will commence from Sept. 15. Candidates should submit application forms in prescribed format before 5.30 pm on Sept. 19.
