Mysuru: A three-day workshop on “MATLAB R2017a” was organised at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in association with CoreEL Technologies, Bengaluru.
This workshop, sponsored by VVCE ISTE Chapter, focused on giving hands-on training to the faculty, research scholars, industrial practitioners and PG students of engineering colleges to utilise the capability of latest version of MATLAB software for their research work.
The workshop was inaugurated by Pramod Kumar Naik, Senior Application Engineer, CoreEL Technologies. P. Vishwanath, Secretary, Vidyavardhaka Sangha, presided. S.N. Lakshminarayana, Treasurer, Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Dr. B. Sadashivegowda, Principal, Dr. Shobha Shankar, Professor and Head, Department of E&EE and resource person Manishankar, Applications Engineer, CoreEL Technologies were the guests of honour. VVCE has procured MATLAB software with TAH licence for 3 years. Lecturers from 8 other institutes and 37 in-house faculty participated.
