MDMA drug, Rs. 43,500 cash, 3 mobile phones, one bike seized
Mysore/Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, following a tip off that Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) drug was being sold by peddlers on Pulikeshi Road in Mandi Mohalla Police limits, raided the spot and have arrested three peddlers. The Police have seized MDMA drug, Rs. 43,500 cash, three mobile phones and a bike from them.
The accused, who used to purchase the drug from the main peddler in Bengaluru, used to sell the same to students and others.
Mandi Police, who have registered a case, have launched a hunt to nab the main peddler in Bengaluru and the purchasers.
DCP (Crime and Traffic) M.S. Geetha Prasanna and CCB ACP C.K. Ashwathnarayan guided CCB Inspector A. Mallesh and staff Raju, Joseph Noronha, D. Srinivas Prasad, Ravikumar, Janardhanrao, Radhesh, Ramaiah, Anil, Subhanallah, Sunil and Raghu in the nabbing and seizing operation.
