Three held for stealing sheep

Rs. 1.6 lakh worth 16 sheep recovered

Mysuru: Narasimharaja Police on July 31 arrested two persons on charges of stealing sheep and also arrested one person on charges of buying the stolen sheep. The Cops have recovered 16 sheep worth about Rs. 1.6 lakh.

While the sheep lifters are 33-year-old Idayatulla of Usmania Block in Kesare 1st Stage and 28-year-old Nischith of Kalasthawadi village, another person who has been arrested for buying the stolen sheep is 22-year-old Mohammed Avez of Usmania Block in Kesare 2nd Stage.

Idayat and Nischith had stolen the sheep in Srirangapatna, Naguvanahalli village, Mangala village in Kollegal taluk.
