Channapatna: Three members of a family were electrocuted in a tragic incident this morning at Agasarahali in Channapatna taluk.

The deceased have been identified as Bhagyamma, her daughter Dakshayani and son Dayanand. Dakshayani was said to have gone to put wet clothes for drying on a wire which was allegedly tied one end of an electric pole when she was electrocuted. Bhagyamma and Dayanand who went to save Dakshayani  too were electrocuted.

Channapatna Rural Police have registered the case.
