Three Pandrol rail clip thieves arrested

Trackman averts major tragedy

Mysuru:  The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Police have nabbed three thieves who had stolen Pandrol Clips (Elastic Rail Clip) used in railway tracks. Meanwhile, a Railway Trackman alerted the engine driver of  Cauvery Express proceeding to Chennai via Bengaluru on Feb.1 to slow down the train as it moved closer to Ring Road, thus averting a major tragedy.

It came to light that three thieves Sanjay Dhruvaraj alias Pintu, 22, from West Bengal, Lakshman, 28, from B.M. Shri Nagar, Mysuru and  Rizwan Pasha, 38, from Aleem Nagar, Mysuru, had stolen 74 Pandrol Clips or ERC used in railway tracks.

The RPF Police have registered a case in this regard.
