Bengaluru: Three youths were killed after they were run over by a train near Byappanahalli Railway Station in Bengaluru yesterday.

The deceased have been identified as Chamakalapalli Sasi Kumar (20), Bala Subrahmanyam (22) and Lokesh (20), all from Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor.

According to the Police, Kumar had come to Bengaluru in search of a job seven days ago. Lokesh drove a cab, while Subrahmanyam was here for his studies.

A Police Officer said that investigations have been launched to ascertain the cause and why the trio were walking on the railway tracks.
