Tiger menace: MLA GTD visits spot

Mysore/Mysuru: Following sighting of a leopard at a sugarcane field in Doddakanya village and spotting of tiger in Chikkakanya, Jayapura hobli in Mysuru taluk, Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda (GTD) yesterday visited the spot, where an operation to capture the tiger by the Forest Department is going on and collected details from the Forest officials.

The MLA advised the villagers not to venture out alone in the night, not to listen to rumours and co-operate with the Forest staff till the tiger is captured. He also instructed the employees of TVS factory to be very careful while going home while reporting to night duty and while leaving the factory after completing their night shift.
