Tilted traffic pole on Ring Road needs attention

February 1, 2021

Sir,

As a concerned resident of Mysuru, I would like to raise the issue of an unsafe traffic pole present in Dattagalli Ring Road. As seen in the picture, the traffic pole is highly tilted. It would be on the verge of collapsing in the event of heavy showers or wind.

I am afraid that this hazardous traffic pole is potentially fatal. The fact that the traffic pole is present at a junction experiencing high traffic, right next to a KEB sub-station, further aggravates the matter.

Through SOM, I would like to draw the attention of authorities concerned and I hope that this pole will be repaired or replaced soon before it collapses and causes an avoidable accident.
