Time-frame for Direct Benefit Transfer procedures

Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (e-Governance), in a circular issued, has announced time limits for various software- based procedures related to all Government Departments’ beneficiary schemes and subsidies under unified Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

In the DBT platform, time-limit is fixed as follows: Three day to approve in authoriser log-in, 2 day to approve in approver log-in, 5 day to prepare bill after approving in DDO/CSO log-in at Treasury-2 , 2 day for approval by Treasury Officers at Treasury-2 and 2 day for scroll generation and final approval and 7 day for payment of rejected transactions after NPCI verification.

Also, 30-day time limit is fixed to apply for payment of failed/ rejected payments by Treasury, 7 day for payments failed/rejected by Bank and 5 days for reporting  DBT Cell about credits to wrong accounts.
