Toilet facility at clinics

May 24, 2018

Sir,

Of late, we observe good number of patients waiting for doctors at clinics, both general practitioners and specialists. Most of the patients are senior citizens with degenerative ailments.

Only a few doctors keep-up their appointments while others are not able to maintain appointments due to their pre-occupation. As a result patients are made to wait for long hours.

But almost all clinics are not provided with toilets for senior citizens to attend nature’s call.

Hence, I request the doctors to provide toilet facility at their clinics for their patients, which is the need of the hour and patient-friendly approach. At present, except diagnostic centres, no clinic is provided with toilet facility in city.
