Topless bus shelter continues to be neglected

November 28, 2017

Sir,

The new bus shelter recently constructed by the MCC with the advertisement of Karnataka Bank near KEB bus stop in Kuvempunagar  remains neglected with no cover on top of the shelter.

Once I remember,  on a rainy day, when I approached the bus shelter to avoid the rain drops, I was surprised to find the unfortunate  situation and had to run to alternate place for shelter.

As I observe, it is more than one year since the same situation continues to exist. At least now let the MCC initiate some action to provide a cover on top of the shelter so that the public can take shelter on a sunny day too.

Let the Karnataka Bank, who are the advertisers besides serving the community by providing shelter, also take up the matter with the MCC and rectify the lacunae immediately.
