Mysuru: With the city all set for the 10-day Dasara festivities from Sept.29 to Oct.9, the State Government in a bid to promote Dasara tourism, has exempted entry tax for tourist vehicles arriving in city for Dasara on these days.
The entry tax exemption is applicable for tourist vehicles registered in other States visiting the city.
The Under-Secretary to the Government has issued an order on entry tax exemption during Dasara in order to boost tourism.
Accordingly, tourist vehicles from other States visiting the city for Dasara need not pay entry tax from Sept.29 to Oct.9.
