Toxic acids released from gold purification units to the drains on Anjaneya Temple Street in Garadikeri are emanating fumes which is causing health hazards to the public as well as to the students of the nearby Government School. One of SOM readers, who has sent this picture, has urged the authorities concerned to inspect the spot and take precautionary measures to prevent the problem at the earliest.
