Tractor-lifter arrested, five vehicles recovered

Mysuru: Mysuru South Rural Police have arrested Sunil, 30, of Yalachanahalli in Nanjangud taluk who was allegedly lifting tractors and renting them out. Sunil was said to be visiting farmers in villages and offer a monthly rent of Rs. 15,000 for lending their tractors. He would allegedly visit the same houses after a couple of days and lift the tractors which would subsequently be rented out or sold. He was said to have lifted five tractors from Doddakanya, Alanahalli and Mandya.

Based on complaints lodged by tractor owners, Mysuru South Rural Police arrested Sunil and recovered the five tractors.
