Traffic cops conduct drawing & painting contest on Road Safety

Mysuru: As part of 30th National Road Safety Week, the Mysuru City Traffic Police had organised a Painting and Drawing competition for school children at the Open Air Theatre, Manasagangothri, recently.

Nearly 300 school children from various schools in the city took part in the competition and created the art using their imagination to spread the message on the necessity of following traffic rules.

Drawing sheets were provided by the Police Department and two hours time was given to draw and paint. Snacks and juice were also provided to the school children.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe, Traffic ACP G.N. Mohan, K.R. Traffic Inspector R. Jagadish,  Siddarthanagar Traffic Inspector Arun Kumar, N.R. Traffic Inspector Yogesh, V.V. Puram Traffic Inspector Prakash, Devaraja Traffic Inspector P.A. Sooraj and others were present.

The Police officials, apart from encouraging the school children for their talents, also created awareness on traffic rules.
