Traffic signal needed at busy Deve Gowda Circle

November 14, 2021

Sir,

It is really surprising that Deve Gowda Circle at Outer Ring Road (ORR)-Bannur Road junction does not have traffic signal lights. This is one of the busiest circles in our city. It is an accident-prone junction where eight lane ORR meets four lane Bannur Road. Traffic Police also consider this as an accident-prone circle.

Most often there is utter traffic chaos which couldn’t be controlled by a cop sitting at a corner. Five or six wine outlets at this junction worsen the problem.

A full-fledged traffic signal system is badly needed at this junction. I request the authorities to immediately establish traffic signal at this junction.
