Traffic survey: Follow-up needed

March 10, 2018

Sir,

All agencies need to be congratulated for their initiative on Traffic Survey. As a follow-up, there is a need to educate the road-users on traffic awareness. I see a tearing hurry of all vehicle drivers to overtake each other even within city limits. They seem to be reckless.

Also there is a maddening honking-spree. Some of us involuntarily press the horn even when there is no need. Glares are exchanged and choicest epithets are mouthed. The plight of pedestrians are least cared for. Every road-user should follow the basic rules of traffic and respect fellow road-users.
