A two-day rehabilitation training programme for part-time legal volunteers selected in the District Legal Services Authority and Taluk Legal Services Authorities, has been organised at Abdul Nazir Sab Auditorium, Zilla Panchayat (ZP), in city on Aug. 17 and 18.

The programme is organised under the joint aegis of the District Legal Services Authority, Judicial Department, Bar Association, Prosecutions and Government Litigations Department, Police Department, Women & Child Development Department, Mysuru and Outlawed India Foundation, Bengaluru.

Principal District and Sessions Judge and District Legal Services Authority Chairperson Usha Rani will inaugurate the programme tomorrow (Aug. 17) at 9 am.

District and Sessions Judge of the Fast Track Special Court-1 Anand P. Hogade, Mysuru ZP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) S. Ukesh Kumar, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mallikarjun Baladandi, Mysore Bar Association President S. Lokesh, Prosecution Department Legal Officer (Senior) B.E. Yogeshwar, Women & Child Development Department Deputy Director R. Nagaraju, District Child Protection Officer Asha, Outlaw Foundation Trainer D. Shama and part-time legal volunteers will be present on the occasion.
