Mysuru: V.V. Puram Traffic Police recently held a training programme for Home Guards on how to behave with the public, at its Training Centre. In all, 58 Home Guards participated.

Mysuru City Police Media Advisor Jayaprakash Rao addressed the Home Guards and guided them on how to behave while manning traffic junctions, understanding traffic rules and advised them to discharge their duties properly and serve the society.

Traffic Police ACP K.N. Madaiah said that Home Guards should try to create awareness among the public who violate traffic rules. He asked them to educate the people about wearing quality helmets, asking four wheeler drivers to wear seat belts and not to use mobile phones while driving.

This programme was organised on the direction of DCP Dr. Vikram Amathe, according to a press release from City Police Commissioner’s Office.
