Mysuru: The  Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications from students of Savita Samaja to undergo training in traditional art of dolu and nadaswara for a period of four years at  Devanahalli in Bengaluru rural district. The students should be in the age group of 10 to 15 years. They will be provided a monthly stipend of Rs. 500 along with food and accommodation.

Applications can be obtained from the Department office in Jayanagar here and submitted before May 16. For details call 0821-2342917.
