Trekkers’ Cyclothon creates awareness on voting

Tiger Adventure Foundation, in association with The Mountain Goat, had organised a Cyclothon on Apr.15 to create awareness on voting rights of an individual.

City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subramanyeswara Rao flagged of the Cyclothon which saw participation of about 70 trekkers from Mysuru, Coorg, Hospet, Bengaluru, Chikkballapur and Hassan.

The trekkers, carrying placards like ‘If you don’t vote then, you have no right to complain’, ‘This time say no to money and liquor’, ‘Your vote is your voice’, ‘I am going to vote this time,’ passed through Mysore Palace – Hardinge Circle –  SP’s Office – KPA – Sawday Road – Govt. Blind School – Yadavagiri  Dhobhi Ghat – Akashavani – K.D. Road – Paduvarahalli – Manasagangothri Open Air Theatre – Kuvempu Statue – Kuvempunagar Double Road – Vijaya Bank Circle- K.G. Koppal –  RTO – Ramaswamy Circle – Rotary Centre.

The programme was coordinated by A. Anil Kumar, Chairman, Tiger Adventure Foundation.
