Tribal youths taken on a city tour

Mysore/Mysuru: Tribal youths, who are taking part in the week-long 15th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme, were taken on a city tour on the third day of the event on Friday. The tour began with the students visiting Chamundi Hill and then Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Infosys, Mysore Palace and KRS. They were accompanied by M.N. Nataraj, Regional Director (Southern States), Nehru Yuva Kendra, Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

About 200 tribal youths from 8 States including Jharkhand, Bihar & Chhattisgarh are taking part in the programme organised by Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka and Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and BSF (Border Security Force) held in Mysuru.
