Tribute to D.D. Urs

The city’s Anveshana Seva Trust will celebrate the 111th birth anniversary of late former Chief Minister D. Devaraj Urs at the Institution of Engineers on JLB Road at 4.30 pm on Aug. 26.  Six senior achievers from different fields will be conferred with ‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ award on the occasion. Senior IPS Officer J. Arun Chakravarthi will inaugurate while IPS Officer B.T. Kavitha will offer floral tributes to the portrait of D.D. Urs. For details, call Mob: 98804-12045.
