Trishikha Kumari calls upon women to become entrepreneurs

Mysore/Mysuru: Member of erstwhile Royal family Trishikha Kumari Singh has called upon women to set up Minor industries and thus become enterprising entrepreneurs.

She was speaking after inaugurating the two-day expo organised by WISE (Women in Small Enterprises), the ladies wing of Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) at Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyana Mantap in Kuvempunagar here recently.

Observing that small enterprises will become big ones with growth and product demand, Trishikha Kumari said there are ample opportunities for women to become entrepreneurs, which women should make use of in the best manner.

WISE Chairperson T.A. Vasanthakumari, in her address, said that every women is capable of setting up an enterprise, industry or business and lead it to success. Calling upon women to come out of the four walls of their house, she highlighted the support rendered by WISE for women who wish to become entrepreneurs. The WISE has been organising many programmes and taking many initiatives in this regard, she added.

Nagavala Gram Panchayat PDO Dr. Shobharani and  Women entrepreneurs Padmavathi Bhat and Dr. C.K. Meena were felicitated on the occasion.

MCCI President K.B. Lingaraju, Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyana Mantap Proprietors Vidya Arun and Veena Ashok and others were present during the occasion.
