Mysuru: N.S. Vaman Rao Samsmarana Samiti, together with Asakti Prakashana, had organised a programme at Suchitra Art Gallery in Kalamandira premises here on Saturday for release of the book ‘Trivikramanaada Vamana.’ A seminar on ‘Contribution of N.S. Vaman to art sector’ was also organised on the occasion.

Inaugurating the programme, senior theatre artiste Dr. Na. Ratna recalled that Theatre Director N.S. Vaman was a disciplined man and had promoted many theatre groups.

Theatre artiste Rameshawari Verma contended that trust and love were the essential qualities of a good artiste, which Vaman had mastered well.

Akashavani retired Programme Officer N.V. Ramesh (son of N.S. Vaman) spoke on his father’s contribution to radio theatre. Artiste N. Srinivas also spoke. Akashavani Assistant Director H. Srinivas, Uma Ramesh, Dr. N. Sriram and others were present.
