Mandya: A truck which caught fire was completely gutted on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway near Srirangapatna last night. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

Yesterday night, the truck, belonging to a neighbouring State, which was proceeding towards Bengaluru, stopped near Ganangur Toll Plaza near Srirangapatna. The driver and cleaner got down from the truck and were cooking food using a mini LPG cylinder when the incident occurred. A case has been registered at Srirangapatna Rural Police Station.
