Trust to undertake padayatra from Mysuru to Dharmasthala on Feb. 29

Mysore/Mysuru: Kuduma Srikshetra Dharmasthala Padayatre Trust is organising a padayatra from Mysuru city to Dharmasthala on Feb. 29 so as to reach the destination on Mar. 8, said Trust President M.K. Mahadeva while speaking to press persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city yesterday.

The proposed padayatra  is being organised to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the Trust.

About 300 people will participate in the padayatra, said Mahadeva. Continuing, he said the Trust will provide free breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation to those who participate in the padayatra. A puja will be held at 7 pm on Feb. 28 at Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple in the city and  the padayatra will begin next morning at 4 am.

The padayatra will go on continuously for 8 days and will cover a distance of 30 to 40 kms daily, he said.

Office-bearers of the Trust Gopamma, Ashok, Mahadesh, Rahul and Somu Hassan were present at the press conference.
