Trust welcomes New Year by distributing blankets to homeless

January 3, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: While most of the people preferred to stay home to welcome New Year with their family and friends on Dec. 31, the members of KMPK Charitable Trust went around the city distributing blankets to the homeless who were found sleeping in front of shops and on roadsides.

Led by Trust President Vikram Iyengar, the members, who went around the city, found many homeless people sleeping under trucks without a mat beneath them or even a bed spread to protect them from cold.

The Trust members distributed about 50 blankets to them, thus welcoming 2022 in a unique way.

Parisara Snehi President Lohit, Suchendra, Dhanraj, Renuka Raj, Naveen Kempi, Rakesh, Chethan, Kantharaju, S.N. Rajesh, Deepak, Sandesh, Kadakola Jagadish and others took part in the blanket distribution drive.
