TSR award for D. Mahadevappa

Bengaluru:  The State Government has announced the prestigious awards for Kannada journalism.

Retired Editor of Samyukta Karnataka and Karmaveera Dhruvaraj Venkat Rao Muthalik Desai has won the TSR Memorial Journalism award for 2017. The same award for 2018 has been won by D. Mahadevappa, Editor of Prajanudi, Mysuru.

Mohare Hanumantharaya journalism award for 2017 has been won by S. Naganna, Editor of Praja Pragathi, Tumakuru. The same award for 2018 has been won by Dr. U.P. Shivanand, Chief Editor of Suddhi Bidugade, Puttur, Dakshina Kannada.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh and a citation.
