TV actor Rituraj Singh no more

Mumbai: Popular TV actor, Rituraj Singh died yesterday due to a cardiac arrest. He was 59 and was being treated for pancreatic illness.

His close friend, Amit Behl, confirmed the news, “Yes, he passed away from cardiac arrest. He had been hospitalised for pancreatic treatment, returned home, experienced cardiac complications and subsequently passed away.”

Rituraj has starred in many shows like Banegi Apni Baat, Jyoti, Hitler Didi, Shapath, Warrior High, Aahat, Adaalat, Diya and Aur Baati Hum. He gained immense affection for his portrayal of characters such as Yashpal in the television series Anupamaa.

Singh has also appeared in web series Bandish Bandits and Made in Heaven, as well as in films Badrinath ki Dulhania, Satyameva Jayate 2 and Yaariyan 2.
