Two arrested for sale of Remdesivir injections in black market

Mysore/Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on May 12 have arrest two persons for selling Remdesivir injections in black market and have seized two injection vials from them.

The arrested are 24-year-old David Enosh of Mysuru and 22-year-old Ajay of Agasanahundi Colony in H.D. Kote taluk. Both are working as staff nurses at a private hospital in Mysuru. During interrogation the accused are said to have told that Police that they had brought Remdesivir injection vials given by the hospital to administer it to patients and were trying to sell it for higher price.  A case has been registered at V.V. Puram Police Station.

DCPs Dr. A.N. Prakash Gowda (Law and Order) and M.S. Geetha Prasanna (Crime and Traffic) and CCB ACP C.K. Ashwathnarayan guided CCB Inspector R. Jagadish and staff in the operation.
