Mysore/Mysuru: Two persons committed  suicide in city in the last two days.

In the first incident, Pavan (26), son of Raghava and a resident of 5th Main, J.P. Nagar, ended his life by hanging self from a room of his house on Monday evening.

Pavan, who was married, is said to have taken this extreme step as he was deeply disappointed with his wife, who had gone for maternity at her maternal home at Shirangala in Somwarpet of Kodagu, did not return even after nearly a year. The jurisdictional Vidyaranyapuram Police have registered a case.

In the second incident, Ravi (21), son of Durganna and a resident of C.V. Road in Mandi Mohalla, ended life by hanging self at a room of his house yesterday when nobody was in the house.

The reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, according to Mandi Police, who have registered a case.
