Two-day Desi Rice Mela in city from May 18

Sahaja Samrudha in collaboration with Rebuild India Fund and Save Our Rice Campaign has organised ‘Desi Rice Mela’ at Nanjaraja Bahadhur Choultry in city on May 18 and 19 from 10 am to 8 pm. ‘Desi Rice Mela’ is a celebration of rice diversity that is grown with care for your health and environment by our farmers who preserve diversity by conserving different varieties of rice.

The astounding varieties of rice from different regions of the State would be exhibited. Desi rice food competition has been organised on May 19 at 12.30 pm to popularise desi rice dishes.  Painting  competition is  also organised for the children below 12 years on May 19 at 10.30 am.
